High view parking fine

We parked in a car park on holiday in Tenby on 4/6/15 and paid for 5 hours parking. We have now received. A charge notice today (2/7/15) this seems such a scam. Who would still have their parking ticket from a holiday 4 weeks ago? The evidence is a photo of us going in and out of the car park. It would be quite easy to target registrations from out of the area? They are requesting£35 within 14 days or £70 in 28 days. Any advice would be much appreciated as we know that we did pay

It now transpires after talking to my husband that one of the digits was not working on the machine, pity he never mentioned it at the time. Surely they had a registration that was ours with one digit missing???

APCOA Railway Parking Fine

I have read the newbie thread and understand the process I need to follow but wanted to check a few things. I park at the station most weeks for at least one day. Yesterday I forgot to pay for parking (which i normally do by phone). When I finally remembered (at 15.00), I immediately paid and also emailed APCOA through their website and explained my mistake. Here's the email: - Regarding KS02 OKN. I parked my car at 3008 Royston this morning at 8.25 but forgot to pay for my parking until 15.02...

UKCPS parking fine

Hi I received a parking fine on my windows from UKCPS back in November 2012. I searched the sites and was advised to ignore the letters and threats that were due to come my way! These letters finally stopped in January 2013 when I was threatened with a letter from "court proceedings limited London". I still ignored this and have heard nothing from the since. Until Yesterday when I get a letter from "the Miah Solicitors" saying that I have to pay £275 within 14 days. ...

UKPC fine for parking on newly registered private land

I have, along with many other drivers, been parking in a disused unit of an industrial estate for many years. Turning in to the industrial estate the barriers are always up and the ticket booth is always unmanned. I use it mainly to visit a friend who lives on the opposite side of the road so it's convenient. However the last time I visited with my partner, everything seemed the same but we came back to find the notice/fine on my windscreen, and also the same with the car parked next to mine....

G24 Ltd - Parking fine advice please!

Hi, I received a parking fine from G24 Ltd through the post for over staying at Freeport Braintree car park. I followed the guide here and submitted an appeal on there website via their online submission tool. I recently received a follow up letter from G24 saying that the money is still due and on the back of the letter it says as I have not contested the charge within 28 days (which I did) you have forgone your right to be heard by the independent appeals service (called ''POPLA''). What shou...

Excel parking but my company has paid the fine

A new pub opened in my area and shared a car park with an Iceland, however it is very unclear and half looks like it belongs to the pub, even tarmaced a different colour! Long story short, pay and display wasn't clear in this area. My mother received the same fine about a month ago, we appealed and it was fine and accepted. My stupid company because it's a company car automatically pay fines that come in... Even though it came in today and the apparent crime was in late August!!! You'd think ...

Troubles paying a parking fine

Hi guys! New to the forums.. Need some help regarding the following which has left me fuming. I parked my car in a parking pay on a side road in Ealing, West London. I did not have any coins so I paid via the app "Ringo" for 2 hours - When I came back to my just just 10 minutes before the expiry time, I saw that I'd been given a ticket for £30 for not having a valid Pay and Display ticket. When I appealed, I told them the ticket was issued an hour after my park time had started, there...

£60 parking fine

My husband received a letter from a carpark company. It has a photo of his car leaving the carpark. This was two weeks after the incident. He still had the parking ticket so photographed it and attached it to an email to the company. He hadn't however typed in all his car reg number when buying the ticket so the ticket only has the first letter of it. They have turned down his appeal even though its clear he paid £1.30 for two hours but only parked up for 45 mins. Can anyone advise what the next...

CCJ against me for a parking fine I never knew existed

I have just received a letter informing me that a CCJ has been made against me for a parking fine I never knew existed. I moved house in May this year, and I've just received a letter informing me that I incurred a parking fine 3 days later. They've been sending all the correspondence to my old address, so they have already moved for a judgment and the CCJ has apparently already been defaulted in August. When I moved I posted off my V5C form to change the address of registered keeper for my ca...

Parking fine but car is nearly sold

Hi, I have looked high and low for some information regarding this. Let's say that a ticket was issued today - the 04/11/2014. If the car is going to be in another's name in 28 days, is there any point in attempting to appeal? I would like to know whether it's worth appealing now for a car that I won't even own in a couple of weeks. BR More_money (please) ...

Parking fine from an IPC company - help please..

I've been reading through the Newbies section and various other forums and there's an incredible amount of useful information, but with so much talk of POPLAs I'm afraid I can no longer see the wood for the trees, so any help appreciated. Sorry about the pun. In summary, I've had a £100 windscreen ticket claiming the vehicle of which I'm the keeper was parked with a permit in a visitors' bay at my property. A tradesman - who otherwise would have been in the 'visitor' bay - needed to use my o...
