Clients can't connect, DHCP log showing 'unknown subnet wrong network'

I don't have a lease time set, I'm assuming it's the default 7200.

Do I need an explicit rule to allow dhcp traffic to the lan interface?  I didn't have this.

Is there some way to reproduce this without physically taking a device somewhere else and com...

connect hotspot clients to local network

Is it possible to creat a hotspot that connects to a local network instead of the cell data? I connect several devices to tab 3 tablets in vehicles i would like to connect them to my network when they are at my facility. I would like to keep them in groups and have this work automaticly, maybe by using tasker to turn off data and switich to local network by location or time ect. (make hotspot a client on my local network) ...

Wireless Clients using DHCP server on wrong side of VPN!!!

OK boys and girls, this one has my mind blown. Why would wireless clients be going to the DHCP server on the other side of a site-to-site OpenVPN link instead of the local one?  Wired DHCP clients are unaffected. I'm thinking something is awry in the IP configuration of the Intellinet AP that they are connecting to, but it all looks fine. More details about the networks on both sides of the VPN and the VPN itself will be forthcoming as requested (instead of me writing a novel here). TIA for any ...

OpenVPN clients on same subnet as interal network.

Hello,I have openvpn up and running and all traffic routed threw it since I travel so much. But I want the remote computers to be on a subnet range the same as my local machines. IE 192.168.10.20 - 192.168.10.30. Here are my settings now:[img]http:/... ...

OpenVPN clients on same subnet as interal network.

You may enter "192.168.10.20/30,192.168.10.24/29" in IPv4 Local Networks field. That should route only the IPs 192.168.10.20 - 192.168.10.31 from the client over the VPN tunnel. Your remote host just must not have an IP in this range. You also may ente... ...

OpenVPN clients on same subnet as interal network.

You have to use "tap" mode OpenVPN tunnel to get that - the tunnel devices are effectively bridged onto the LAN.But I agree with kejianshi - unless you really just have to have OpenVPN clients being able to browse the general services on LAN for file ... ...

OpenVPN clients on same subnet as interal network.

Exactly - You need to use the IP as phil said. You can't browse to the name the same way you do if you are using a bridged configuration or if you are on that local network directly. Its a minor inconvenience to use the IP, but its actually much much m... ...

OpenVPN clients on same subnet as interal network.

Assuming you pass all from OpenVPN to pfSense LANnet then you should be able to browse Windows shares on a particular LAN file server by something like, Windows-R:\\192.168.10.20But you won't be able to see the file servers listed in the "Network" se... ...
